My Story
There have always been two things I wanted most out of my life: be a stay-at-home mom with lots of babies and to some day be a Real Estate Agent.
Four beautiful boys later, I continue to live my first dream. With my first son finishing up his last year of high school, my second son getting his learners permit and my twins finishing up their last year of middle school, it is time for my second life’s wish to begin…
Welcome!
Hi, I’m LauraLee Magee-Eskaros.
I’m a customer focused real estate agent who not only works with you but your whole family!
I strongly believe that living in the right neighborhood not only makes everyone happy, but it also makes you truly feel like you are home.
Whether it is your first home, second home or retirement dream, I will help you every step of the way.
Beginning, Middle and Left to be written…
A quick view of who I was before becoming a stay-at-home mom.
Who I was as a stay-at-home mom.
Who I inspire to be…
Little back ground…
Many know me as just LauraLee. I grew up in Plainsboro, NJ which back then was a small farm town. My grandparents (Mother’s side) owned a Christmas tree farm.
All my work experience before marriage and family was in some type of office accounting position. One of my favorite jobs was working for Account Temps in Silicone Valley! Working with start ups allowed me to get to know people from all over.
That is correct, I lived in the San Francisco Bay area over 3 years after getting married. This took sometime for a small town girl to get used to.
Family
In June of 2000, our first son was born! This is what brought us back to the east coast. But where oh where should we plant our roots? How far from family do we want to be? City or Suburbia? “Maryland is nice,” I told my husband. So the new job search began.
By March of 2001, we moved into a 2 bedroom apartment with our son and dog. We told ourselves we only had 3-6 months to find a house.
Long story short, September 2001 we moved into our new home. By January 2002, our second son arrived. Jumping to March 2004, we welcomed Baby A and Baby B into our home.
So, what does a stay-at-home mom of 4 boys do? Volunteer, of course! I have done everything from Mom’s Club, PTO, helping teachers, to being a Den Leader, Day Camp Director to Scoutmaster.
Was I bored or just crazy!? Well, I must confess that fresh baked cookies only happened 2 times a year. My crock-pot was my best friend and every Friday was movie night and pizza. But the best part, and it still is, is spending so much time with my boys.
My next chapter…
WOW, what am I going to do with a Real Estate license?
I have so many ideas on the type of agent I want to be. I want to be that “go to” person that either has the answer or can get it for you with a short amount of time.
Personable – that is who I am. I want to help people find what they are looking for. I want to share in the experience of when they find the right house.
I will admit that I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I am quickly learning. I am learning that all my skills and life experiences will come into play with my success.
As I read articles and learned more about “branding” and getting my name out there, I reached deep down inside and asked myself, “How am I going to do this?” I realized that in order for clients to get to know me, LauraLee, I had to really put myself out there.
So you may have stumbled across my website/blog by doing a search about Elkton. Perhaps my name flashed across your Facebook feed or someone mentioned me in passing. However this meeting came to be, I am thankful you stopped by.
I look forward to having the opportunity to work with you and your family.
Send me a message, ask me a question. I am here to help!
